Spring in Sissinghurst

Have read so much about Vita Sackville West's garden at Sissinghurst. It is simply inspired - so beautiful.  It's a National Trust property now so the rooms are sanitised in typical National Trust fashion (tidied up, labelled etc).  But Vita's writing room can only be glimpsed through bars (of an internal door, I think).  And looking into it, you sense that she might only have just left.
