Schiele at the Albertina

A disturbing but gripping exhibition of Egon Schiele at the Albertina (Vienna).
When you step out back into the open spaces and halls filled with familiar favourites (Picasso, Cezanne etc  etc) you really feel that you've left the presence of a master - even if you disliked a lot of what you saw.

Schiele's drawings really lend themselves to embroidery - here on a pillowcase.
